To: Our Valued Customers
At Madison County Wood Products, the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and vendors are always our priority, and we recognize the essential role we play in providing our pallet and wood products during this critical time. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We assure you that we are doing everything possible to maintain the highest level of service while ensuring the health and safety of everyone.
Protecting our employees, customers and vendors
Physical interaction with company employees will be limited as much as possible and substituted with email or telecommunication. As our employees interact with customers, vendors and the general public, we have taken steps to curb exposure to the virus. We have placed restrictions for non-employed persons to enter our facilities, restrictions on travel, postponed large-scale events, eliminated gathered meetings, provided remote-work solutions, and continue to reinforce safe behavior in every environment; from customer sites and vendor businesses to our plant and offices, where we have increased deep-cleaning. Additionally, we have protocols in place that activate closures, disinfection and appropriate quarantine procedures based on recommendations by government and health agencies.
Assisting our employees
We are in continuous communication with our employees reminding them about the importance of good hygiene, providing them with health education and support whenever needed. Employees have been asked to limit physical contact and maintain at least 6’ contact as much as possible. Please do not take this as an insult, it’s in everyone’s best interest. Employees who feel ill have been told to not report to work and we have specific quarantine and communication procedures in place should an employee be diagnosed with COVID-19 or is asked to self-isolate by a public health authority, and to provide comprehensive benefits to support them.
Aligning with public health authorities
We have a team actively evolving our response to this pandemic and have Business Continuity Plans to ensure the continuation of services. We are closely monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies.
Our commitment to our customers and our communities
The role our company operates in keeping people’s needs met is incredibly important in times like these. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your sales representative with any questions or concerns. Thank you very much for your continued partnership and business.
As always, thank you for being a customer and for your continued trust as we manage through this time together.
